Some Final Thoughts

I still argue that books are good for you, though you have to actually interact with them for full benefits; but I can concede that publishers need to make money, so they publish what brings in profit for them. Maybe it would be interesting to look into some genuine research about this- and how possible changes could be implemented in the future.
On average, 79% of U.S. adults nationwide are literate in 2024.
21% of adults in the US are illiterate in 2024.
54% of adults have a literacy below a 6th-grade level (20% are below 5th-grade level).
Low levels of literacy costs the US up to 2.2 trillion per year. (nationalliteracyinstitute)
These are actual statistics, and that's a little scary.
I have enjoyed looking through history- I didn't get to everything I wanted to- but I had fun regardless looking into the more ancient aspects of history. How it changed and connected over time. I definitely did enough reading to somewhat educate myself more on the subject. I will continue to explore these topics, and maybe one day my name will be on a couple articles about the subject.
